"OMG Yummy Yum Yum!! Let me start with the GLUTEN FREE Black Velvet Cupcakes are CRAZY delicious. This is a very cute little shop hidden off Hillsborough Ave. I tried Synergy because they offered GF items and after being disappointed by so many other cake shops I figured what the heck. Well to surprise these cupcakes are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I also got each of the regular items for my friends to try (favorite being the Red Velvet Cheesecake Brownie, Carrot Cake Cupcake and Black Velvet Cupcake) and they loved every single bite with one scrapping the cupcake paper, lol. This is now my go to for my Gluten Free needs, my only wish is that I could get a GF Black Velvet cake for my wedding but the owner doesn't do cakes like that anymore only a certain few pound cakes and cheesecakes. All of the staff are super friendly and very helpful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go visit Synergy Sweets by Shonnika Denise, you will not be disappointed."

"10’s across the board! So proud of Chef Shonnikka and Synergy Sweets. I remember when it was all a dream and she was coming up with the name for her bakery while we were in culinary school. From weekend bake sales to farmers markets to slaying competitions, Chef Shonnikka is exactly who she thinks she is! I traveled from South Florida to attend the Synergy Sweets 1-year Celebration and I’m leaving super inspired with my sweet tooth cravings thoroughly satisfied! I purchased a combination of her cupcakes, cheesecakes, cheesecake cakes, and cookies. Having a hard time selecting a favorite. Everything is rich, decadent, and delicious! Here’s to more years of sweet success. 💕"

"I have been stalking synergy sweet’s Instagram for a while and decided I wanted my baby shower’s cake to be from there . The cake went perfectly with my baby shower sunflower theme ! One tier of the cake was chocolate which actually tasted like chocolate cake and the other tier was vanilla with fruit. The cakes were moist and delicious and the buttercream icing went perfectly with the cake. I ordered another cake for my mother’s 65th birthday - strawberry cake with cheesecake. The design of the cake was beautiful and went with the theme I had in mind for my mother’s decorations. I also ordered red velvet and cheesecake for Christmas. The cake was moist and tasted like actual red velvet cake. I was excited when the bakery was open and I have had the pumpkin cupcakes, chocolate chip cookie and the espresso martini cheesecake. I appreciate that the bakery elicits feedback from their customers and actually listen. Synergy sweets asked about different flavours of cheesecake to make and I requested coffee and I finally got to taste the expresso martini which was a burst of coffee flavour with each bite in my mouth . The size of the cheesecake was perfect for me to get a taste during the whole week. The decor of the bakery is warm and inviting and goes perfectly with entering a blanket filled with delicious sweets. Everytime I go, the music makes me feel like I am in an episode of Bridgerton . Customer service is always pleasant and inviting. The packaging to include the pink bag all adds to the aura of leaving with a special piece of the sweets heaven."
