"I am thrilled with the cake that was made for my daughters birthday. I ordered ahead and I felt like a lot of care was put into getting the order right, as the designer called to clarify my preferences after reviewing the inspo photo. While they do offer full ice cream cakes their standard is to put a layer of vanilla sponge cake at the bottom to add some structure. I was nervous and even skeptical of this variation but I’m so glad I went with it because it was really lovely having the two textures together. As it happened when it was time to pick up the cake a week later there was a thunderstorm rolling in. When I arrived there was a wonderful mother daughter team working there that took the initiative to make sure I had a plan to get the cake from the store to my car without damaging it (they double wrapped it with an oversized plastic bag.) I noticed they had a lot of beautifully designed cakes in the store which is not as easy to produce with ice cream cakes. Will definitely be coming back!"
