"My daughter loves Publix and we ordered her two full sheet wedding cakes along with tarts. She really wanted one to be an ice cream cake. On November 7, 2025 I picked up the cakes and tarts and brought them to the Holiday Inn express where we were all staying and where the reception was going to be held the next day. At 6:30 pm I came to pick up the order. Lauren carefully helped me put the cakes in my suv. The bride saw the cakes and was so happy. We got them to Holiday Inn and the staff put the ice cream cake in their industrial freezer, it was very heavy. Around 9:30 pm Holiday Inn staff put something in the freezer and noticed the box imploded and the ice cream cake was ruined. I called Lauren at the bakery and she was so accommodating to help me. We brought the cake back and they fixed them back to the original order. I can’t say enough about the great bakery staff at Publix Gulf to Bay & Belcher Clearwater location. Customer service is always top notch but that day, they went over and above to make my daughter’s wedding worry free."
